Is it possible to travel between downtown W. Palm Beach and Palm Beach on public transportation?:

Yes, there is a Palm Tran bus that picks up at the station on Quadrille (just east of CityPlace in downtown West Palm Beach) and heads over to Palm Beach. I believe it's Route 41 - call Palm Tran for specifics - 561-841-4291

The #41 bus is now stationed at the Intermodal Transit Center just behind the Tri-Rail Station which is at Tamarind, as are several of the buses which can be found in the downtown area.
The #1 bus is currently the only one that stops at Quadrille near City Hall. I'm finally getting used to the change after almost a year, and riding a bus every day during the week. |

Thanks Shelley for chiming in here! I also heard the it's Bus #42 that goes over to Palm Beach....?!
@ "visitor" - best way to find out for sure is to to just give Palm Tran a call. Great to see you back Shelley - we missed you!!

The 41 route only operates in the early morning and late afternoon. And is non-existent on Sunday. Why would West Palm Beach allow it's number 1 asset to become so inaccessible by public transportation?l
