We haven't been to either before and would like to know if one is recommended over the other? Or, how close are they to each other and is it possible to go to both areas in one day?

They are not many blocks apart and an easy walk. I do it all the time.
![]() Rosemary is the main street through CityPlace and you can walk it through to Clematis (or turn there if you start on Clematis). My personal opinion is that CityPlace is the better shopping area, but there are a few selections on Clematis. I recommend both for dining options, as there are several excellent choices. I think Clematis is becoming more known for its restaurants and clubs. You can hop one of the free trolleys which travel between the two areas in a matter of minutes and you can make the decision on where to get off to start your shopping adventure.

I really like both areas a lot - and they are different. Luckily they're close so you can do both in a day and if especially if you've never been - go!!! CityPlace is an open area with loads of shopping. They have regular stores like Ann Taylor, Macy's, Bath & Bodyworks, Williams-Sonoma, Victoria Secret, etc. and then they have lots of independent shops. It's like an outdoor mall, but very nice and in a beautiful outdoor setting. Clematis Street has that downtown city feeling and is also very beautiful. Both are great like Shelley mentioned for dining. Stroll and enjoy!
