Default December 09

I'm planning a weekend getaway in December. What is the weather like and is the beach still a good time in December?

Thumbs up West Palm Beach in December - great time to visit!

I love West Palm Beach in December! Weather is awesome and yes, you can still go to the beach - although the water might be a bit too chilly. Of course that depends on where you're coming from - Northerners have no problem with the cool water - they love it! On average, the high in December can be mid to upper 70s. A cold front could move through also, so you'll just have to play by ear. The beauty of the weather in West Palm Beach is that if there is front to move through, the next day you can bet on warm, comfortable temps again.

Enjoy the beach, enjoy the palm trees, enjoy being outside in December without having to be all bundled up!
