Keiser University to Host Law Day Symposium
Thursday, May 11, 2017: Keiser University’s West Palm Beach Campus will host a Law Day Symposium from 6:45 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. at its West Palm Beach campus auditorium located at 2085 Vista Parkway, West Palm Beach, Florida 33411.

Presented by Keiser University’s Advisory Board of Legal Studies under the guidance of Legal Studies Chair Gary Chapman, J.D., the event is designed to increase public awareness of community policing as an effective law enforcement model to improve relationships and cooperation between the police and local communities. It will feature distinguished panel members who will share insight relating to the value of community and law enforcement partnerships based on mutual trust and regular interactions, as well as strategies that can proactively address public safety issues.

Panel members include: · Chief Jeffrey Goldman - Chief of Police, Delray Beach · Ms. Joycelyn Patrick - Delray Beach Community Activist · Dr. Anthony Berrios - Dean of Academic Affairs, Keiser University, West Palm Beach · Mr. Paul Zacks, Retired Assistant State Attorney for Palm Beach County.

West Palm Beach, FL: Palm Beach Zoo: Stacey Konwiser Memorial Save The Tiger 5k May 20, 2017: Run or walk to help save Malayan tigers! It’s estimated that there are fewer than 300 left in the wild. Proceeds from this race help fund Palm Beach Zoo’s partnership with Wildlife Conservation Society to protect Malayan tigers and their habitat at Endau Rompin National Park in Malaysia.

Race registration includes a free tech-style running t-shirt and Zoo admission. Our Big Cat Race Series runs go through beautiful Dreher Park, finishing inside the Zoo. Online registration is now open, visit www.palmbeachzoo.org/save-the-tiger-5k-2017. Race is Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 7:30am.
